It’s impossible to deny the incredible growth of the internet of things — or the IoT. Findings from a recent CompTIA report reveal that North Carolina’s capital city is the No. 2 “Tech Town” in the U.S. for high-tech workers, and Durham-Chapel Hill comes in at number 13. Anchored by the three major research universities of North Carolina State University, Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Research Triangle attracts technology companies from across the country.

RIoT — a Connected Community

That is why we are extremely proud to sponsor RIoT, the rapidly growing IoT grassroots organization (formerly known as NC RIoT) that combines academia, government and industry to drive the IoT space into the future.
